This is a game I got from the Three wise Men. The three wise men is a catalan tradition, and it's like a Christmas. Triominos is just like dominos but with three sides.

Troll Writing 2

This is just the 3rd task of the other troll writing. We had to try and make it have verbs, adjectives, and adverbs.  This is descriptive writing and a narrative, also we had to try and put people speaking. We do this type of writing once a week and then it changes. this is writing two, the first one was the dragon. I hope you enjoy it.

Story starter!                                                    

  Thump! He slammed his enormous, grass-covered foot into the middle of the road, sending shockwaves of dust in all directions.

With a loud grunt, the troll wrenched the entire, fully tiled roof off a nearby holiday home, with the owners peering helplessly and frightened out of the downstairs windows. He didn’t mean any harm, but he just couldn’t help himself…

This is my writing. --> The troll was green, enormous and had a round head, with multiple trees on his back. Birds had settled his head quickly to not get hit by one of the trees.  The troll had skinny legs and he had huge feet. He had a hunch back. His nose was long and floppy. The roots had got too long and had got out of his head, and that made a beard. A rope had been tied around his waist for capturing him and know why he was there. The citizens of the town had left the area quickly, some had came back for the little children, the town was being fled, and everyone screaming and running for their lives. The troll was causing madness. There was a loud grunt and then after that, the troll said loudly “ I mean harm, no.” this meant that he was kind.  A frighted 40-year-old said quietly, “ What do you mean?” the troll had no reply and he had saw something in the distance and he stared then immediately fled to the mountains where he was first coming from. Everyone was cheering. It was like the troll was thinking about getting home and was trying to find his family.

The bald part is where the troll is talking, the troll also has bad grammar.

They had to do something they were desperate to train the dragon. The twins bring the dragon to a training ground. They would tell the dragon when it was doing good by giving it a treat, they had seven treats. They trained it to not eat the humans, that wore red, he ate the treat, six treats left. They taught it not to attack the jesters that were juggling with blue round balls he chewed it down his throat five treats left. They taught it not to quickly erupt fire from its mouth, he burnt down a treat, four treats left. They trained it to protect the people that would escape slowly, he munched the treat three treats left. They trained it on how to keep his temper he ate the treat quickly, two treats left. But there was one thing that they didn’t teach the dragon… How to fly it and swoosh and glide!!! So they trained it to do that and the dragon gobbled down the last treats. There were no more treats.

This is some writing and we had to write with, adjectives, verbs, and adverbs.  This writing is about a king that gave his children a dragon.  There are two slides that you can go on.

Shapes

Today we had a chart of hidden 3D shapes in real life. We had to draw the shapes then label what they were in real life.  I did this for a while and I think the best shape I drew was a cube. This is how I did it: you have to draw a cube, then you have to draw another cube a bit higher and a bit more to the right, and then connect the corners.

Supermarket Trip

Yesterday the class went to the Supermarket for a trip.  We learned how to read food labels and how to estimate if it was healthy or not. We had 4 types of food to find and, see if it was healthy or not. at the start, we got given a piece of paper to see if it was healthy or not. The first area that we went to was the bread. Me and Jack R choose to do brown bread as healthy and white bread is unhealthy. The next area was the cereal and we choose Weet-bix as healthy and coco pops as unhealthy. Then we did the muesli bars, I forgot what we did, but after that, we left.

Swimming Sports

Today I went to swimming sports. I was in two races. They were 1 length freestyle (33.3 m)  and 1  length backstroke. when I was called up for backstroke, I had butterflies in my stomach because it was my first time doing a length. After I did it I felt a bit proud. Then I did freestyle and that went very quickly but I came last. Then I waited a bit then I got changed because I was tired. then I ate most of the food in my lunch box. Then the people that were still in togs went for a free swim. We then left and went back to Kaniere School on the bus.

Symmetry

This is what we have been learning for math, symmetry. We have been learning 3 types of symmetry.

They are called Reflective symmetry, Translation symmetry, and Rotational symmetry. Reflective symmetry means if you put it in a mirror in the middle of a photo it will reflect the same. Translation symmetry means it can move one place to anther. Rotational symmetry means that if you rotat the shape it will be the same.
