Gardening

Yesterday we did gardening because it would make our garden look good. We were flipping the dirt over so the plant isn't so tight. We did it for about 50 minutes. My partner was Jasper. We had to get some shovel that was in the sandpit that belonged to the garden. It was really fun doing the garden. I'm proud of this because it took a lot of hard work.

Cybersmart With Kotuku

Today we did cybersmart with Kotuku because we had to put them in a bubble that was in a place like how Olly chose lego land. We had to work in buddies, my bubbies were Rhys and Olly. Olly was the one that was in the animation.  We had to but them in a bubble and copy and paste the slide to make it look like it was moving.

Egg-Speriment

This is the Egg-Speriment we did for the challenge that Mrs.King told us to do, we did this yesterday.  We had to put the eggs in malt vinegar and white vinegar. To do It we had to put a tray on the stage, and have the meter ruler in the tray facing upwards. Then we got the egg and bounced it and the highest we got was 65cm, and that was white vinegar, it was much higher than the first attempt. The malt vinegar we don't know what the highest is because we dropped it from 60cm. I'm proud of this because it went so high. I learned that different vinegar has different effects on the egg because the malt ones were brown and the white ones were more white.

Stream Investigation

On Tuesday this week, we went to a stream to find out how healthy it was. The stream was called Crawl Fish Creek We had to be in partners with someone and I was partnered with Jack R. We had to walk over to Mr.Morrisons farm, and we had to do things to test the health of the stream. One of the things that we did was test how warm the water was and we got 9.3 degrees celsius. another one was measure how deep the water was and we got 6cm deep, also we measured the length of the stream and I'm not that sure of what the length is though. Next, we had to measure the speed of the water and to do that we got an orange and tested the speed, some times it was quick and sometimes it wasn't quick. Also, we had to look at what lived in the river we found some larve and some other stuff. We also got to see the mosses and other stuff that lived on the rocks.  Then the last thing we did is zig-zag down the stream and the thing that was at our big toe. I really enjoyed it!
