Colouring In

This is the one I coloured in
This is what we did for cybersmart/summer learning journey. We went onto a site called Art Coloring Book. We clicked on something we wanted to color, then we coloured it in. To colour it you would click the thing colour we wanted, then we clicked the part we wanted to colour in.
Do you like the one I coloured in?

Title Rating

This is what I rated for the title slide that I did for cybersmart. In the video, I rate the titles that are there. I used a screen castify. For cybersmart we did a task about terrific titles. The video is only one thing I did on the whole slide. we did other stuff like circle the titles and making up a title for a story that doesn't have a title.
Have you ever used a screen castify before?

Paper helicopter

Today for a reading task we had to make paper helicopters. We made them because our reading task was about a kid that stuffed his dead cat and turned it into a remote control helicopter. To make it you need to hold a 1x10cm piece of paper in half, stick a paper clip in the bottom, after that you would fold the wings down. Once you have done that you drop it in the air and it should spin.
Will you try and make one?

MicroBit

There is a website called microbit and you can code a microbit. If you have a microbit you can put the file of your creation in it. We did it with Mr.Kinane we did animation on it made a paper scissors rock game and did the one you could choose. Mr. Kinane is going to be here Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday The video is the one I did that I could choose You can code microbit with blocks, python, or javascript. If you have a microbit then you can plug it in with a USB cable, and then you can play the game that you created on it. If you want to keep it then you need to get this battery to power it. On Tuesday we made it to see how far a micro bit can send its messages. Then on Wednesday, we made it so it spins a little propeller. To do that we needed a cricket and that you put the micro bit in it and then plug in the battery and the propeller I got mine to spin. We coded it so then it could open and close. We put in on a cup and then put a straw in one of the propellers.

DId you know about microbit?

Kite In Progress

This is the kite I have made in the past week for art. We used toetoe, and string to make the kites. We had to make the frame of the kites first. After that we had to knot the string on the bottom and tie the first piece of toetoe on it. Next we had to do a criss cross on each piece of toetoe so it won't fall off. In the photo that is what I have done with my kite so far.

Camp

Last week we went camping at a Christan Camp Woodend, I will talk about my favorite thing I did there and going to Orana Park. We stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights. We went to Orana Park at Christchuch. I liked lots of animals, the animals that we saw are, the lions, rinos, tasmanian devils, trout, kiwi, some lizards, spider monkeys and gorillas. My favorite animal I saw was probably the tazmainian devils. Tazmainen devils are suffering from something called fasel cancer I'm pretty sure. It gets spread from blood and siliba, e.g one tazmainian devil that has that cancer bit a carcas and then another tazmainian devil comes along and scares of the other one and eats it and gets the diese. My favorite activity was archery. I liked archery because it makes me focus and I like to focus. The activitys we did was go karts, night walk, climbing wall, arojump etc. We also went to the Christchuch Air Force Musem.

Would you like to go to Camp Wooden?
