The Amazing Anzac’s

We made a poster of remembering the Anzacs, and a made up letter of you in the battle, to someone in your family Anzac stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps. The Anzacs were put at the wrong beach. It was tall and steep, but the one they were going to land on was a gentle hill. They fought for eight months, and they managed to make a system that will make the guns shoot so then the Turks would think that they are still there. On the hospital ship, there were 9 doctors, 19 nurses, and 900 injured soldiers. It took three months for letters to get from NZ to Gallipoli. That means that most of the news that they got was a few months old. I really liked learning about Anzac day and I learned lots more.

Do you have someone in your family that went to Gallipoli?

My story.
