Doubling And Halving

For math, we had to do a strategy called 'Doubling And Halving'. Doubling and halving is where you double a number and half the other number.
E.g:    4x16.   Pretty hard right?  8x8.      Can you see what I did there I used doubling and halving?
I doubled the 8 and halved the 16, which makes the math easier to figure out.
